Last Friday evening The Actor and I had dinner at Bistrotheque's latest pop-up restaurant 88. We're very lucky to be invited to such fun things. The venue was a soon-to-be-demolished postmodern office building in Canary Wharf. Built in 1988, the theme was the glamour and excess of that time. As I'm on my own so much I tend to buy things that I like to eat, that are easy and mostly require heating up, vegetables adding and maybe a bit of tinkering about with. I've always wanted a Porter's chair. I've been looking for a bargain one for ages. There was a really tatty pink velour one with a few rips in it on Ebay a year or so ago. I've always been a fan of Kate and I think she looks fabulous in the new Dior Addict lipstick ad. It was directed by Jonas Akerlund the man behind the video for Telephone by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce. The track in the Dior ad, All You Need Is Now was exclusively remixed by Duran Duran.

The Actor has very kindly bought me this jacket as a present. I spotted it on Ebay and left a snipe bid on it. It wasn't exactly a bargain at £110 but apparently it's unworn and if the measurements are correct it will be a perfect fit.
