My current favourite shoes

Apart from my sequin Fitflops!  I know lots of people don't like them but I love mine.  It must be an age thing but I'm thinking of comfort first these days.

The Actor bought me these raffia and suede wedges in the Office sale for £25

I tried to use the timer on my camera by balancing it on the low window sill

The light's coming straight in making my legs look  like a couple of milk bottles!  Believe it or not I have a little bit of St Tropez on them so they're not as pure white (and puny) as they look here, honestly.

They're the most comfortable high shoes I own at the moment.  I had them on all day Saturday and all night and they never bothered me once.  That's a good buy I think!

What are your current favourite shoes that are comfortable?

I'm still catching up on blog reading, if I haven't visited you yet I will.  Have a lovely evening xxx

They're lovely, they look quite '40s style, especially with that red polish which is fab by the way. What brand/colour is it?

By the way, I love my sequin fit flops too. I know some people hate them but they're so comfortable, I don't care. I've been shocking on the blog front again, I have a few places lined up, I just need to get to them! xx

Love those shoes, they look so versatile and smart.

My current favourites for work are still my sequin pumps, but when I feel I can get my feet out, it will be my wedges all the way.

Oh Christina, I need those wedges in my life! I've got some whopping big high wooden ones but those look really comfy without sacrificing style.
I'm so used to walking about barefoot for three weeks I'm finding everything I put on rubs me. xxx

I used to have red ones that looked very much like that. I mourn them. Those look gorgeous on you!

Dear Yvonne, it's OPI Big Apple Red.

I agree, Fitflops are great! Look forward to catching up with your blog xx

Dear Perdita, good to see you're rocking a sequin though! xx

Dear Vix, my feet are the same, too bloody soft. Honestly they are THE most comfortable I've had. Nice price too! xx

Dear Mary, thank you. They'd be amazing in red. What size are you? xx

OOh I adore these, for me I would love the wedge to be about an inch shorter (showing my age!)

Ooh I like a lot and a bargain too! I really like your nail varnish too. My current favourite pair of shoes are my gold wedges that I've had a couple of years. I've dug them out of the storage now the sun has arrived but can be a little troublesome trying to totter around some of Blackpool's cobbled streets. xx

These are really nice, and somehow quite practical being a wedge :-)

Nail polish - what colour?

Legs don't look like milk bottles. Yours are way too slender to be milk bottles. Mine look like 2litre cartons.

I do think they are fab. I think from about the age of 16, I lived and died in heels, to the extent that when I did my first night of work in a cocktail bar, the staff recommended that next time perhaps I might want to wear trainers. I repudiated the suggestion telling them that it was in fact trainers and never heels that caused me discomfort. This ended sadly when I went backpacking and got accustomed to barefeet and flip flops. First night out in London upon return was very painful indeed and nowadays I wear ballerinas all the time. My current favourite are a velvet pair with decorative cameos. Ive bought them three times and they make me feel very Little Lord Fauntleroy. How I wish I could re-gain my tolerance for heels! x

They are gorgeous Christina, I must check the Office site. Sadly my favourite shoes at the moment are my stinky old Converse, I've been doing too much running around lately to wear anything else. I spent one day in wedges recently and ended up almost crippled by the end of the day!

I'm having trouble catching up with blogs too, I love it but it does take up so much time xx

Those shoes would be adorable with a pair of short shorts.

Ooh they're wonderful! I'm on the hunt for new wedges as I sense my faithful ancient pair of cork Dolcis wedges are on their way to shoe heaven but the perfect pair is SO hard to find. I'm ever so fussy about how much toe is on show and the ankle straps have to be just right too. I'd snap up a pair like yours if the strap was just a little different.

I'm currently smitten with my stripy Office espadrilles (in today's blog post). Only a tenner and so, so comfy.

Mmmmmmm so delish and suede too so I'm not surprised they're comfy!! Three Brownie points for The Actor! Wedges are absolutely wonderful aren't they? My fave shoes at the mo are VW Melissa Three-Straps. xoxoxo

I was trolling round the streets in New York last week and I saw lots of amazing shoes in the shop windows, and on the passer's by. I thought of you.

Very nice! They look like fun. If I wear the wrong shoes when I go out it definitely effects how I feel! My favorites right now, since you asked, are from Born. They are wedgies like yours, the heal slightly less and they are a soft, red hue! Super comfy and when I ride my bike I get nice comments from strangers on them! I purchased them about 4 years ago, so soon we'll have to part ways. When I hooked up with my shoes, they had a cute brother available in this awesome soft green color. But I'm a loyal gal and stuck with the red.

They are gorgous, it funny I posted yesterday my CHloe sandals which I love but the front strap has been rubbing so they need wearing in a bit more. My comfy shoes are my Chanel ballerinas x

I like your shoes. I have albino legs, but so what? Fuck it. So does Julianne Moore and Cate Blanchett. Whatever.

My favorite shoes are still ballet-type flats (black, like Audrey Hepburn wore) and a pair of wedge flip-flops with fancy straps. They are very comfortable, if I can just keep from twisting my damn ankles in them.

Love you SO!

Nice toes. The platform is the best thing that every happened to shoes with a heel. They've delivered comfort and style. These look great on you. A slight hint of bondage never hurts.
