I love Roxanne Lowit's work.  She takes behind-the-scenes shots that not many other photographers are allowed to capture.  Her pictures of the supermodels in their decadent heyday, the mid-Nineties are particular favourites.

I luv the bathtub shots!
P.S. wish i was in london to go to gay bingo night! Every time I go here, I have such a good time I always forget to take pictures! I think the drag name for Linda Evangelista was "Linda Evangelipstick" Ha!

I can't remember bath nights quite like that.
On beautiful pictures, I love the one at the beginning of your blog, with the two masked ladies. Stunning.

Hi there-I love seeing pictures of Naomi, Christy and Linda together, they were totally amazing back in the day and oh so glamorous too-their lifestyles must have been totally awesome and amazing, they always looked out for each other and obviously have a very strong close bond. x

Hi Christina - How are you? Gorgeous shots - oh how I love those supermodel days, there was nothing quite like them! I still remember being mesmerised by the George Michael Freedom video and the the whole concept of those girls! Fantastic. Read a great interview with Cyndi Crawford the other day - she seems really grounded. xx

Dear Christina, I love those pictures, especially Kate Moss. Weren't they just Amazonian visions of beauty? No wonder we never tired of them xxx

I'm so glad you wrote a post about these photos...I saw them once a long time ago and have been wanting to see them again but I never knew who the photographer was...thanks for sharing!!

I love how genuinely healthy and full of life they look. I worry about how pale and emaciated and generally ill a lot of models nowadays seem to look.

I love the photos. I had never seen any of them.

Love you, too! Hope all is well and the Actor's neck is better.

Dear WHV, how brilliant. You should Google Jonny Woo, he's hilarious. If you come to London you should go to one of his nights, he's the best xx

Dear Wally, aren't they stunning? The picture on my banner is from Ellen von Unwerth's book Revenge and is called Victory xx

Dear Sharon, I think they all got on extremely well and grew up together which is lovely xx

Dear Amanda, I'm great thank you, hope you are too. I loved that video. Weren't they just the best! xx

Dear Mrs TNMA, me too although they should have been the other way round! xx

Dear Vix, they are a gorgeous bunch of girls. They're still my favourites xx

Dear Megasus, Roxanne's work is fabulous. You should check out her book of pictures backstage at Dior xx

Dear Alex, yes absolutely! I hate to see really skinny girls and all of these did look healthy, you're so right xx

Dear SB, I love them because they are so relaxed. The Actor's neck is much better thank you, he managed to trot off down to the off licence with no both when he realised there was no wine to go with his dinner on Sunday night. Love you too xx

Dear Becka, doesn't she look beautiful. I love the veil too xx

Dear Miranda, thank you. I'm have so many images stored on my laptop, there'll be a lot more picture posts. Hope you're good xx

Dear David, I agree, there won't be another bunch as fabulous as them, that time is over xx

Dear Ruth, yes they are amazing. You always look gorgeous! I wish I was a bit shorter and less conspicuous! xx
