London's Next Top Tranny

Photography by David Hart www.shootmeup.co.uk
Fabulous Russella

My second stop of the night was the ridiculously popular London's Next Top Tranny at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club.  It was completely full to capacity and there was a big queue outside.  I felt sorry for Tessa on the door who wasn't allowed to let any more people in until some left.  Luckily my friends Jonny Woo and Jeanette came to the door and I was squeezed in.  They were the evening's judges along with Scottee.

I'm dying to know who won, hopefully I'll be sent some pictures.  I had a drink and took some snaps of my friends but then I had to shoot off before the show.  Look out for anything with Russella, Scottee and Jonny in the listings, they're always hilarious and brilliant.

The amazingly talented Jonny Woo.  The Queen of London's cabaret

Fabulous Russella looking fabulous as always

The lovely Scottee

The gorgeous James Jeanette strikes a pose.  Do you think they need some new signage in there?  Look at the state of it behind him!  Someone's got carried away with the sellotape and a large stencil by the look of it.  Luckily the main room is much nicer than the entrance.

Paloma Faith.  I love her jacket, I've forgotten who she said it was by.  I shall ask her again.

These two pictures were taken by a professional.  I couldn't get the camera setting right.  As usual.

Dear Christina,
Oh, I do love a glammy tranny!
What a fabulous event, I'm not at all surprised it was packed out.
A few years ago I worked with a lovely Brasilian boy who loved nothing better than to raid my wardrobe & make-up case for a night out...we had some riotously fun times together!
Russella's outfit is spectacular & Paloma Faith never fails to impress me.
...xXx

Oooh the Pearly Queen jacket is fabulous! I tried to convince Mr D that I'd like one of those a while back, but he wasn't at all convinced.

how ironic I was due to go that night and was gonna ask if you fancied meeting there. I forgot I was booked to be somewhere else so didn't go but went to the last heat which was so funny and entertaining. I need to know who won too! x

Dear Alex, they do. They put so much effort in with their clothes and make up. And they're all really funny as well xx

Dear Margaret, I think you should get one. It would look amazing on you! xx

Dear SB, you definitely would and they're humour is right up your street too xx

Dear Vix, they SO do!! xx

Dear David, ah, what a shame it would have been lovely to have seen you. I'll find out xx

Dear Lizzie, Jonny doesn't always have a beard but I think with this outfit it adds a certain something xx

I read your article which I assume has been written after deep thought. I have been following you for a while and have asked my friends also to do so.
