Shoots I love - Bal masqué

Bal masqué - French Vogue October 2010
Photography by Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggott
Models - Lara Stone, Freja Beha Erichssen, Mariacarla Boscono, Daphne Groeneveld
Realisation by Carine Roitfeld

I think this is a beautiful and strong shoot and one of the most interesting I've seen for ages.  Sadly I can't post the whole shoot as I have to be careful posting tits on this blog!  Google are not keen on any nudity.  Anyway, it's great to see the art put back into fashion.  I love it.

Love the line about not posting tits!
It is a magnificent studio shoot - I love opulence and stillness in a frame xx

What fabulous images as always, Christina. How I'd love to go to a masked ball but I'd probably get drunk, loose my mask and get sent home in disgrace.
Boo to Google for being the morality police. xxx

Very beautiful indeed, almost print-like in the stark contrasts. Shame about the knockers.

Fabulous photos I love a bit of drama to a shoot, I had to laugh at the tits comment... I have to admit I was a little worried yesterday knowing what happened to you, so I was careful that they all had something on even if it was shoes xx

Oh Google gets on my wick sometimes. Do people really object to seeing the odd boob in an arty setting? I doubt you'll start posting loads of porno pictures!

Aren't the masks just wonderful?
