Sunday music - The brilliant Adele

I went to see Adele at a small private gig before she was signed and her beautiful voice and pure natural talent blew me away.  She has a voice that gives you goose bumps and is one of the few singers who sounds exactly the same, or even better live.  You can't beat that raw energy.

I love her version of Bob Dylan's Make You Feel My Love.  It's such a beautiful song.  A lady did it on X Factor last night but it wasn't a patch on Adele.

Adele was nineteen when she made this album and has a voice way beyond her years.  She's also an absolutely lovely girl and a right laugh!  Adele is no diva like some of our other young stars, which I love about her.  I can't wait hear her next album commissioned by Rick Rubin and produced by the brilliant Paul Epworth which is due out later this year, and her collaborations with Mark Ronson.  What a great talent she is.

A very gentle song, perfect for a Sunday morning.  Enjoy xxx

Hey you!! I'm back :)

I really like Adele#s voice too, it's fabulous....she was on Jools Holland's New Year's Eve show a couple of years ago and was the best on there, I loved her.

Thank you for the tag, am just catching up now....off to read your posts right now! I can see I have missed loads )

I thought of you the other day....was in Monte Carlo and saw Love magazine on the newstands....great covers :)

Hope you are well :)

Funnily enough we were only talking about Adele the other day and wondering what had happened to her. Such a powerful and pure voice. xxx

I think that she has one of the best voices around and I hope she has a long and successful career.

Didn't know that she was working with Mark Ronson - everything the guy touches turns to gold (or Grammies!).

This avo I'm listening to Seth Lakeman. My taste is eclectic, if nothing else lol!

Dear Anon, ahh that's great! xx

Dear Ruth, I posted it really early this morning. I was only going to post that song but I got carried away. I've changed it back to one song now.

It is a gorgeous song, I'm glad you like it xx

Dear Sharon, oh no! Why have got no audio? The song is lovely if you get a chance to listen elsewhere xx

Dear Vix, yes it was due for release next month. She has a great voice, the type I'm sure will get better with age. Hope you're good xx

Dear Ali, Mark Ronson's great. He works with her a lot because she's brilliant and reliable, unlike some of his other collaborators!

I'm off to check out Seth Lakeman, I've heard of him but I have no idea what he sounds like! xx
