Red is the colour

Milla Jovovich

I love the colour red in clothes and accessories, it's one of the few colours I wear.  Here's a random selection of red pictures.

They are a little bit Galliano/Dior biased, but John uses red more than any other designer I can think of.  Red can be elegant, glamorous, sexy and dramatic, but never boring.

I never seem to wear red, must try harder! What a lovely selection of reds, Christina. I'm in love with those Dior sandals and the Galliano gown. xxx

I think all of us blondes wear red well. But I also love hot pink, aubergine & copper. Otherwise, it's black or white. Anything that pairs with black & white well is what I spend $$ on when buying new accessories. Lovely post, C. I've been saving up my red photos for the holidays. xx's

I love red, too. All my kitchen appliances are deep red.

I love the red in the Dior outfit. It's perfect.

Have always loved camel-fall & winter, spring summer- blue. I have RED on my radar this fall-and use to wear much more of it, I was remunerating all the lost red in my fashion life, of course we are talking 50 years, so that is a lot of years-first fabulous coat and hat I ever had was Red, thanks to am Father that loved to shop for his wife and daughter. that Dior or Elle cover should convince anyone. pgt

I used to wear a LOT of red. Not as an accent colour or anything, just full on RED.

My most treasured possession WAS a red leather bike jacket - a real one, weighed a TON - but my flatmate had a party one night when I was visiting mes parents and when I came back to the flat my jacket was.....gone :-(

Love the JPG frock!

I rebelled against red for years, probably because my Mother loves me in red, in an attempt to winkle me out of black,(in the late eighties) she gave me a beautiful classic sixties style red wool suit, (for interview purposes) I have to admit, I always got the job when I wore that suit!
Beautiful images, interesting one of KL he looks very ecclesiastical.

I can't resist green. I'm getting more daring with red though - currently have a 50's style red floral pattern dress, red pumps and red nails!

Dash - I feel that way about green! In between forcing me to wear a brown long dress to the first year school party (and then adding a FRILL to the hem so that I had to wear it to the second year school party!) she was forcing me into green frocks!

Had a knee-jerk reaction to green clothes for yonks. But she was right, it does suit my colouring - or it did before I went grey!

Gorgeous pics!
I can't seem to wear red altho' I love it. It needs to have the right under-tones otherwise I looked really washed out. If it has orange undertones, I look awful. The same applies to wearing red lipstick.
I guess I need to persevere this season ;-)

Love red the most, followed by fuchsia, orange then purple and blue. Despite the fact I would live in black given half the chance!

I love red, my wardrobe has alot of black and white, but also seem to have alot of deep blues. Coral makes most skin look gorgeous too. e xxx
