I was very sad to hear that renowned photographer Corinne Day died early this morning. Corinne was struck down with a brain tumour thirteen years ago. After undergoing extensive treatment it seemed the operations were successful, but sadly the condition returned two years ago
Corinne's revolutionary photographs of fourteen year-old Kate Moss catapulted Kate to stardom. Her intimate pictures hugely influenced the style of photography in the early Nineties and saw the birth of heroin chic.
Corinne, you will be missed xxx

I just heard about this on twitter, very sad indeed. As a teenager in the 90s I found her photos soo inspiring and they will forever be a iconic part of that era.

It is very sad, also I cam shocked though to think my little boy is the same age as Kate was when she was discovered...she was a baby xx
