The fabulous Catherine Baba

Catherine Baba is amazingly stylish and an amazing stylist.

I love everything about her look and the turban is great.  I've been wanting a turban for ages but haven't found the right one yet.  Perfect for those bad hair days!

I don't have much money at the moment but I'm definitely not short of clothes. I still have pieces I bought when I was twenty.  I'm only occasionally shopping for accessories to jazz things up I already have.  I've been meaning to a sort through it all properly.  I had a little rummage around and have already discovered lots I'd forgotten about.  My walk-in wardrobe is stuffed to the gills, you couldn't fit a Rizla in it!  I've promised The Actor that I will deal with it this week...

Catherine is pictured here on her way to the Christian Dior Haute Couture show.  And she doesn't bat an eyelid about riding her bike around Paris in those amazing YSL super-thin, super high stilettoes.  She's fabulous.

Update:  I've just found a site selling turbans with the required pleating and knot at the front. I've ordered myself one in cream and one in black velvet.  If they're not very nice when they arrive I'll wear them when I'm taking my make up off!

I've gone gaga for Baba.
It's also nice to find somebody paying tribute to Boldini, he is, was, considered a hack by many but face it, he was a lot more fun than Sargent.

Forget the turban...I've been looking for years to find a grey mink coat like that!

I try to never leave the house in the summer sans my white turban... It makes any ensemble, be it white trousers and a white tee look like something bette davis would wear! GOOD LUCK!
